Sameday Health
Sameday Health is a rapidly-growing Californian healthcare company that embraces technology to offer services at scale. The company has processed over 1,000,000 COVID-19 tests across the United States. In addition to COVID-19 testing, the company has a laboratory division, offers telehealth solutions, and is rapidly increasing its service offering to include at-home services, wider medical services offered, and increased pathology capabilities. Orbit provides various engineering and design resources to the company (outlined below).

Orbit provides various engineering and design resources to Sameday Health, integrating seamlessly with the company’s existing teams. The partnership is efficient and allows Sameday Health to tap into additional, specialized resources when required.
Engineering & Data
Aggregated and automated ingestion of various data sources into a secure data warehouse solution. This allows unified dashboarding, offering near real-time analytics for business executives to make decisions. Data helped identify cost inefficiencies, spot site volume trends, and connected end-to-end client journeys (from sign-up to successful insurance claims to rebookings). In addition to data engineering services, Orbit provided training services to equip executives with the necessary dashboarding and SQL skills to answer any pressing business decisions through the use of data. Data was also used to build clustering models to identify clients that are likely to rebook and insurance companies that are likely to pay given various metrics.
Orbit also provides API engineering and auditing services to Sameday Health. This includes the survey of API endpoints of current systems to identify security risks.
Design
In a company growing as fast as Sameday Health, at times design resources are stretched thin. This was the case and Orbit provided supplementary design resources that integrated seamlessly with the company’s existing team. Through this, Orbit has assisted the company with various corporate and brand design projects, from investor presentations to advertisements.
Orbit is also leading the design of the upcoming Sameday Health mobile app and updated web app.
