Atomic & Forerunner - The Initial & Dough
Orbit was commissioned by Atomic and Forerunner, two of the largest Venture Capital firms in the United States, to design and build multiple web apps.
The Initial
The Initial is a platform that allows influencers to mint and distribute their own signature NFT trading cards. Orbit was commissioned to design the theme and style guide for The Initial as well as to build their React website. In addition, Orbit implemented a system to track sharing of the URL, allowing them to unlock rewards, based on share volume, upon official launch.
Dough
Dough is a tool to help social media influencers raise seed capital to launch or expand their own product line. Using a proprietary model, the Dough app allows influencers to connect their social media accounts and analyzes various metrics to give an estimate as to what their product could potentially earn, and how much seed capital they could raise. Built with a React frontend and a Django backend, Orbit turned this pitchdeck idea into a production ready application within one month.
Adding value in multiple areas
The Initial & Dough projects were opportunities for the Orbit team to add value in a multitude of areas. From utilizing our 3D team for the staircase background, to our UI designers focusing on memorable experiences, to our backend team building a robust Django backend.
